Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney comes from a theatrical heritage, her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. In 1986, she received her degree in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first stop in 1990. She was in New York City when she began the beginning of her Broadway career. The audience praised her for the two shows Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
